Dr Markus Butz, Mai 2012: Wonderful Experience!
The Dinning room is impressive!
A must when going to Oxford.
Mrs Hayley Petrie, Mai 2012: Really helpful staff and great, clean rooms with lots of character.
Mrs Rebecca Brown, Mai 2012: The refurbished rooms at Keble are much much better. Having stayed last year in the older rooms, where the shower barely worked and everything was clean but shabby, this has really made a difference. I booked Keble this time as it was the only (convenient) option - but now the rooms are so much better, I would put it to the top of the list - there is nothing I could improve, except the ability to turn down/off the radiator. (I just opened the window, but that's not a very environmentally friendly option!) Many thanks.
Ms Linda Dawson, Mai 2012: My daughter stayed at Keble and enjoyed the experience immensely
Miss Maja Mysliborska, Mai 2012: Really great way to discover Oxford 'from the kitchen'. Beautiful building and great standard of room. Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience the highlight of this venue as the breakfast isn't served until 8am...
Dr Jorge Fernandez-Santos Ortiz-Iribas, Mai 2012: I found Keble College a wonderful college to stay in, and strategically located within Oxford. The staff (Porter's Lodge and Dining Hall) exceptionally nice. Overall, a most pleasant experience. The room was appropriately furnished.
Prof Michael Wooldridge, Mai 2012: Very pleased with the whole experience. Breakfast was really excellent.
Ms Kate Shah, April 2012: It was a great alternative to hotels, very central and good value for money. We'll be using it again, I don't doubt!
Miss Nicky Bray, April 2012: Very much enjoyed our stay (myself and colleagues) and will definitely come back again.
Miss Mhairi More, April 2012: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Keble College and would certainly recommend Keble College to my friends.
Mr David Milne, April 2012: everyone was very friendly and helpful--a very good experience all round
Mr Koen Du Pont, April 2012: Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Really excellent.
Mrs Sarah Ayers, April 2012: We visited as a group of four and found staff and facilities to be beyond what was expected and of a very high quality. We would strongly recommend the experience of staying at Keble to others.
Mr Alan Tanay, April 2012: Had a really pleasant time here. New accommodation means I benefited from the the new furnishings. The bathroom has windows and shutters and you can control how much natural light you want in. The room is spacious with ample storage space. Really great new rooms. The grounds were great and everybody is just friendly in this College.
The breakfasts are great value for money - really stuffed with full English breakfast during my stay.
There are also some room to leave my personal stuff when I needed to come back to it at a later time, having already check out.
Overall, my experience here was absolutely great and would definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues when they need to stay in Oxford.
Dr Heidemarie Buehrle, April 2012: I had a very nice stay at Keble college. The "sraff" was very friendly!
Dr Stuart Robertson, April 2012: The room and breakfast were good. The bed was a little short.
Mr Tomas Bravenec, April 2012: The room was very small, but comfortable. Breakfast at the wonderful college dining hall was the best part of our overall nice experience at Keble College.
Mrs Cathy Waterhouse, April 2012: Will be coming back later this year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Mr Izak Smit, April 2012: Thanks for the stay.
Ms HILARY COTTINGHAM, April 2012: lovely to sit in the grounds
Ms Ezra Zahabi, April 2012: Very helpful staff, room was basic but comfortable and warm. Great stay- thanks!
Mrs Diana Hall, April 2012: We really enjoyed our stay at Keble College and the breakfast in Hall was a high light - being able to visit the chapel was also wonderful. Thank you very much
Mr Romain Watteaux, April 2012: Lovely place and very beautyful Breakfast/Dinner Hall !
Ms michelle cook, April 2012: The weekend was lovely, and made really special by the beautiful college accommodation. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast in the dining room was wonderful, and it was all fantastic value for money. I will definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone. I have only one tiny criticism - I would have liked more bedding to be available if needed; even with the heating on I might have been a little cold without my flannelette nightie :-)
Mr Andrew Wroblewski, April 2012: The breakfast was quite good and the setting in the Hall was amazing. Housekeeping did a great job. The room was very clean, albeit "tired-looking." The toilet in our particular room was in need of repair or replacement. Very much enjoyed the peaceful setting in the quad.
Mrs Pauline Part, April 2012: Thank you so much, we had a great stay, our children loved their stay and beautiful Keble College was so unique and peaceful. We will be back and recommending you as well.
Mrs Sarah Bourne, April 2012: All the staff were extremely helpful and had a lot of local knowledge. It was delightful staying in a college, and one so convenient to everything Oxford has to offer
Miss Sandra Johanna Langer, April 2012: I'd book the same again.
Mr John Richier, April 2012: Our stay at Keble College was most enjoyable. The whole group were very pleased with the accommodation and thought that it was good value for money.
Mr John Fitzpatrick, April 2012: The staff were welcoming and friendly and gave excellent service. Just a small point though. The breakfast procedure needs working on as the process wasn't explained so before i had started eating the cereal the hot food arrived. One of us didn't want the hot breakfast but it wasn't explained you could have pastries. And what happened to pots of tea! A pot of hot water is not the same.
However, despite this grumble had a wonderful time and will recommend to friends.
Mr Ronald Chow, April 2012: Keble College room was freshly refinished and in excellent condition. It was very clean and comfortable.
The location was fantastic to tour Oxford. As a note there was no parking but everything was within walking.
The eating hall was excellent environment for having breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
Mrs Marianne White, April 2012: Will certyainly go back
Mrs Bridget Haycocks, April 2012: excellent venue for a gathering of friends ...each making their own booking to suit their needs. I throrughly enjoyed my stay.
Mr David Palmer, März 2012: All we had hoped for, with added bonus of excellent weather. Wish we had been able to stay longer.
Miss Alexia Lazou, März 2012: I left my feedback with the venue. On the whole I thought it was excellent and unlike the average B&B experience. The only thing lacking from my room were coat hangers.
Mr John Stelling, März 2012: Good reception and no problems
Ms Rosemary Sexton, März 2012: Staff at Keble College very customer focussed
Miss Aisling O'Donovan, März 2012: The quad rooms were lovely. However the standard double and twin rooms were very basic. But it was good value for money.
Miss Lucy Hunt, März 2012: Keble is a beautiful place to stay - we had ensuite rooms over looking the quad - wonderful views. Fabulous breakfast, in stunning hall with lovely staff to help. We will definitely be arranging future visits to Oxford and stay there.
One small niggle that left us a a little disappointed, we did ask on 3 occassions if someone could give us a quick tour of Keble College. My friend's Dad studied at Keble (he sadly died last year) - part of reason for staying at Keble was to look around and perhaps find/see photos of past students. We rang in advance to ask for quick tour (and was told yes) and then asked twice while there..also told yes but then were unable to find anyone with time to help us. If someone could tell us for next time if / where alumni info / photos might be found that would be icing on cake :-)
Thanks
Lucy
Many thanks for contributing to a wonderful weekend - the weather helped too! We were visiting the Oxford Literary Festival - which was great - and we plan to come back for the full festival next time, and will most likely staff out at Keble again.
Mrs Susan Ewbank, März 2012: Many thanks - we had a great time. Everyone was charming and very helpful. We enjoyed our meals and we think the college is beautiful. We think you should tell the people who make postcards of the colleges that we looked in just about every shop in Oxford and couldn't find a single one of Keble - such a shame when it's such a beauty. Many thanks for a wonderful experience.
Miss emily buxton, März 2012: melissa, the groups manager was extremily helpful thoughout the booking preocess, which changed a number of time. the dining was excellent and a wonderful tasty meal - great value. the porters lodge could have been alittle more organised but they were friendly. the location and buildings/grounds are stunning - i shall definatly be recomending this place to all
Mrs Teresa Marriott, März 2012: Good value, bed creaky everytime I moved, concerned it would wake my husband. Breakfast good and surroundings of Keble hall dining room very impressive, service was excellent.
Mr Joel Replogle, März 2012: Stayed a week in Keble College in newly-remodeled room (ground floor near chapel). Wonderful service, especially at breakfast, and greatly enjoyed the historic location with easy walk to everything I needed. If I return to Oxford, I will definitely stay in one of the colleges again.
Mr justin sayer, März 2012: I really enjoyed the stay and breakfast in that amazing spoace was memorable.
Thank you
Ms Julia Timms, März 2012: Room smelt slightly but think this was the cleaning product that smelt rather institutional.
The guy on the front desk, a student, was super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was enjoyable more because of the setting than the food. Overall would definitely recommend.
Mr Yih Sun, März 2012: The superior single room (ensuite) is very clean. There is wifi available in my room. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful.
Dr Elaine Willmore, März 2012: Clean room, well equipped. Preferred College setting much better than staying in a hotel. Good value, and very central.
Mr Matthias Kuscher, März 2012: Absolutely outstanding room - newly refurbished, very tasteful modern decor, spacious, excellent amenities (including easy-to-use high-speed internet). Fantastic value for money!
Mr Christopher Holme, Januar 2012: Enjoyable stay.
Ms jeanne simmonds, Januar 2012: it was a very enjoyable experience with excellent service and I will continue to return to this college.
Dr Roger Firth, Dezember 2011: An excelllent way of seeing the Colleges of Oxford.
Mr Keith Whitehead, Dezember 2011: Totally different than staying in your 'normal' hotels and much much better because there is no noise, only really nice guests, wonderful historic buildings and setting. Eating in the main hall was an experience not to missed in itself. The standard of service and food was excellent. The staff treated you like a VIP all the time. Such perfect English manners. Great! Will definitely use again in preference to any other accommodation option.
Dr CHRIS ANSPACK, Dezember 2011: Room was very clean and functional with a great view over the quad- a bit hot though! It was a shame no evening meal offered as the Dining Hall is magnificent but at least we were able to have breakfast there. Lodge porters very friendly and helpful.
Overall a really enjoyable stay and would do it again
Dr John Payne, Dezember 2011: Impeccable in every way. Next time I will allow more time for a more relaxed breakfast.
Ms Marcia Bailey, Oktober 2011: A really nice alternative to staying in a hotel. My mother & I loved the experience. The room was fairly basic but perfectly adequate and clean. Appreciated walking around the grounds and visiting the chapel and having an excellent breakfast in such a beautiful hall. Would definitely choose to stay here if I return to Oxford.
Mr Richard Chay, Oktober 2011: We thoroughly enjoyed the room, Keble College campus, and the accessability to the city, train and bus stations.
Mr Richard Noah, Oktober 2011: Very enjoyable way to spend time in Oxford. Great value for money.
Mrs Leigh Kilpert, Oktober 2011: Clean room, beautiful buildings, helpful staff, quick and delicious breakfast.
Dr Cesc Múrria i Farnós, Oktober 2011: I really enjoy Oxford and the Keble Collage was a good experience. I recommend it 100%.
Mr John Hillen, September 2011: I was travelling to Oxford to meet friends and stumbled across the university's website & hence booked at Keble. Not only is the tariff very competitive the whole experience of actually staying at the university really added to my visit. I look forward to another opportunity to stay at Oxford again.
Mrs Anne Quinlan, September 2011: I have never been to Oxford before. I am 63 and travelled alone, and booked online. Kebble College was absolutely wonderful. I felt safe and secure in my room at night and was blown away by the awesome dining hall, courteous staff. I had a wonderful stay, thank you! Anne Q
Mrs Anita Reynolds, September 2011: The environment and location of the college is superb. Excellent weekend exploring Oxford. Would definitely use this service and accomodation again.
Mrs Kathleen Lawton-Trask, September 2011: Keble College was the ideal place for us to stay - the facilities were excellent, the staff attentive, and the location ideal. We will be recommending it to everyone who visits us here in Oxford!
Ms Sara Sumpter, September 2011: The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and impeccably maintained. The setting was gorgeous. I'd love to go back someday.
Mrs Dianne Simcock, September 2011: A fantastic "Oxford Experience"! Simple but comfortable room - excellent value for money.
One can only envy the students who actually study and live there!
Ms Vanessa Lee, September 2011: Our stay was peaceful and very enjoyable, we'd definitely return again, we do every summer. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
Miss Anne-Marie Glennon, September 2011: What a lovely and unusual experience. I will highy recommend Keble as a destination to any of my friends who want to visit Oxford.
Anne-Marie Glennon
Mrs Brenda Williams, August 2011: We really enjoyed our stay.
The room was as expected to be honest, very nice, basic, what we expected student accomodation would be like. The bed was really comfy, clean and bathroom was clean also.
Breakfast was excellent and the people who served us were lovely.
Thank you so much
Ms Cheryl Easter, August 2011: Absolutely unique B&B experience. Wonderful view over the quad, perfectly maintained grounds, beautiful buildings and the Dining Hall was the most amazing dining experience (Hogwarts minus owl). Rooms basic but well-maintained, clean and comfortable. Would recommend. Excellent value for money.
Ms Alison Lockley, August 2011: The accommodation was excellent and exceeded my expectations, with only two rooms sharing a shower room on each floor. The room was clean and spacious and contained everything I could need. The breakfast in the hall was wonderful and all staff were friendly and helpful. The student who showed us to our room was very helpful and pleasant. All in all a lovely stay to be recommended.
Mrs Lorraine Heywood, August 2011: Excellent, would certainly book to stay at Keble College again. Booking on-line straight forward. All in the party said ideal venue.
Miss Amy Foxton, August 2011: Rooms could have done with thicker blinds, but otherwise we were extremely pleased with our stay.
Mr David Pittam, August 2011: Room a bit basic but experience of stopping in college and dining in magnificent hall was very enjoyable
Eileen Pheiffer, Juli 2011: I was grateful for the lovely warm weather, but it did make for a warm room. Wish there was a way to get some air movement in the room. But otherwise, an enjoyably stay. My compliments to your wonderful staff.
Ms Pauline Simmonds, Juli 2011: Booked for my snr citizen sister, who was full of praise for all staff - very polite, helpful etc. She was able to change room to one on a lower floor with little fuss. She loved breakfast in the dining hall and was impressed by the quality of food. Only drawback was the broken blind, which was fixed.
Ms Leigh Giurlando, Juli 2011: This was the second time that I had stayed at Keble. In late June the twin room was £110, which I was quite cross about when I saw the room. This time the same sort of twin room in the same building was (inexplicably) £88, which was better value, especially considering how basic the rooms are.
Mr Ryan Charbonneau, Juli 2011: Great value for the money: comparable to 4 star London hotels at twice the price.
Thank you
Mr Bob Hull, Juli 2011: lovely place would return excellent position all Oxford attractions
Ms Amy Limoncelli, Juli 2011: A wonderful trip to Keble College! Will definitely book again!

Mrs Samantha Robinson, Juli 2011: Fantastic experience, beautiful college, chapel and dining room - just like "Hogwarts"!
Mrs Fran Baird, Juli 2011: This was basic accommodation - but what we expected, what surprised us was the beautiful buildings and surroundings that we stayed in. The location to Oxford was wonderful.
Miss Brenna Kearney, Juli 2011: As a former abroad student at Keble, it was wonderful staying there again. Loved it. Loved everything about it.
Mrs Naomi Yabe Magnussen, Juli 2011: I enjoyed the atmospher on the campus. The dining is really nice. Wish to come back again.
Best wishes,

Kind regards,
Luke Mitchell and family
Ms L SULLIVAN, Juli 2011: Enjoyable stay in Oxford, Keble is an excellent & beautiful location for exploring Oxford. Room was clean & spacious, & the breakfast was delicious. College staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again.
Carmen Gonzalez Vazquez, Juni 2011: Excellent the staff
Jenny Walklate, April 2011: This was, as ever, a wonderful stay, and I'm sad that it is only available in holiday times!
Mr Martin Lloyd, April 2011: A very pleasant stay. Excellent value for money.
Mr Robert Foster, April 2011: Would recommend Kebel College to friends.
Mr Olivier Thereaux, April 2011: Most beautiful view from a room ever, with a lovely service and a nice room. Would have been perfect had the bed been a little less bouncy and soft, but for the money it's a gem.
Kirsten Bartlett, April 2011: The college provided the perfect place for our stay and was very accommodating regarding leaving luggage with the porter. My only disappointment was that the room did not have a quad view but looked out over the street.
Dr John Law, April 2011: A very good service indeed. Too bad that |Keble has not more parking space. Our son is disabled, and if we ever visited ' as a family' we would need secure parkintg accommodation.
Otherwise, everything else was fine.
Andrea Vescovo, April 2011: in one word a wonderful experience! everything was fine and very well organised! very good staff and breakfast! thank you!
jennie blood smyth, April 2011: Dinner in hall was disappointing because of the standard of the food. An excellent base for exploring Oxford. I'd recommend Keble college bed and breakfast to others.
WILLIAM MORRISON, April 2011: This was the first time I'd booked a college room in Great Britain, and I was pleasantly surprised. My room was plain, but comfortable. The breakfasts were fabulous. The college staff were very welcoming and cordial. It was an excellent experience all 'round.
Jason Perepelkin, April 2011: Nice overall, and good value for the price. Might be more cost effective to have WiFi in rooms, but no complaints at all!
Mrs Dalla Jenney, April 2011: Just wonderful, and the porter was great. Thank you.
Ms Christina McGenity, April 2011: I can't remember the number of our room but it overlooked the quad. Surroundings were fabulous and the service extremely friendly and professional.
Highly recommended.
Mrs susan mills, April 2011: Cannot reccommend this place highly enough. It was a priviledge to stay in such a beautiful building in such a great central location within Oxford. The buildings and grounds a simply stunning. The student room was fairly basic, but everything worked and there were lots of fluffy white towels for us. Everyone we spoke to from Keble could not have been more helpful - making us feel extremely welcome, particularly Jo at breakfast (spoiling my husband with his huuuge cooked breakfast). I would definitely go back and have already recommended it to friends.
Mr Tom Rawlins, April 2011: If you ever want to visit Oxford - stay in one of the colleges.
Breige McCaighy, April 2011: The service from the Porters' Lodge was excellent they were extremely friendly and helpful. Breige McCaighy
Dr Daniela Mercieca, April 2011: We've decided to keep Keble College in mind whenever we come back to Oxford! We very much appreciate the staff accommodating us with our one-year old son. Thanks!
Christine Millwood, April 2011: A wonderful way to get a real insight into the Oxford colleges
Linda Allum, April 2011: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Keble College. The room was clean and comfortable and the view of the chapel and quad was wonderful. Experiencing the student perspective on the city enhanced our weekend in Oxford.
Mr David J. Phillips, April 2011: Great room, breakfast and overall experience.
MIKHAIL SOLOVYEV, April 2011: A whole the impression is fine. I'll use the Keble rooms with great pleasure.
As to remarks: on my point of view it is necessary to confirm placing the furniture and electric sockets. WAnd what about TV? Is its absence some concept of the traditional colleges? If yes - no remarks.
Tom Willsher, April 2011: I was impressed. Room was good and clean, staff friendly, would recommend to anyone visiting Oxford.
Hamish Scott, April 2011: Keble hall was great for breakfast, a nice unexpected surprise.
Mr Colin Gibbs, April 2011: THe staff could not have been more friendly nor have been more efficient.
While to rooms were basic (as was to be expected) the surroundings were incredible. Everybody should have the Harry Potter experience at least once.
I would not normally consider this accomodation option but will certainly do so in the future
MIKEL, März 2011: Absolutely Incredible, awesome. The room was very clean and confortable. Clean towels daily, and the breakfast was amazing, very beatifull place. The people was very helpfull and they always treat you in an excelent way. Thanks!! Laura and Mikel (Spain)
Miss Denise Kong, März 2011: Took my children and they loved the whole experience of being in an Oxford College. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was excellent quality and served double quick.
Maria B. Hutchinson, März 2011: Waking up in the tranquillity of the college with the early morning sunshine hitting the face of the clock tower was an extraordinarily beautiful experience. Unfortunately, I did not sleep at all well because the room was too hot. Even with all the radiators turned off, the windows open and lying on top of the bed, the temperature remained high all night because the pipes supplying the radiators run all round the room and remain piping hot all night. Breakfast was a very uplifting and restorative experience - the setting, the choice of food, but most of all the courtesy and attentiveness of the head steward and his delightful team. The sole disappointment was that water for tea was provided in vacuum jugs ie not hot enough for tea to brew properly.
Damion Milliken, März 2011: Staying at Keble College in Oxford while we were there really added to the experience of visiting one of Britain's most famous cities. The staff were lovely and very helpful, especially concerning out 2 year old daughter who came along with us.
Mrs. Katarzyna Maria Durys, März 2011: A marvellous alternative to any 3 star hotel. I would even add, that probably as on a whole college rooms are a better value for money than most 3 star hotel rooms are.
Jenny Walklate, März 2011: This was a wonderful, friendly, helpful college in which to stay. I genuinely look forward to staying again.
Dr Christiane Riedinger, März 2011: all excellent, many thanks.
Mrs Irene Barrall, März 2011: I found the website easy to use, however was a little unclear as to the exact location of the room I was booking (old or new blocks). My email query on this was quickly ans efficiently answered. When using the website again, I'll be clearer on these aspects but for a first time user it was a little ambiguous. The whole experience (which involved a number of friends booking at Keble separately to meet for a weekend;mix of families and individuals) was very positive, the location was wonderful and gave us the opportunity to soak up the atmposphere. We will certainly use your service again.
Mr Stephen Ferron, März 2011: I enjoyed the stay and found the service useful and well organized. I would happily book through you again.
Mrs Lucila Aguirre, März 2011: all excellent, it s a very good place to stay.
Mr John MacNeil, März 2011: everyone at breakfast and in the porters lodge was very helpful and friendly
Madeleine MacNeil, März 2011: staff at breakfast were wonderful
Mrs M Pocock, März 2011: Rooms were clean and comfortable. Furnishings a little 'tired' but otherwise perfect for an overnight stay. All staff were friendly and helpful.
Helen King, März 2011: Will happily return - was a wonderful experience.
Many thanks.
Andrew Downing, Dezember 2010: Wonderful stay in spite of arctic weather. Very friendly and helpful staff. Much better than a hotel.
Dr Matthew Crump, Dezember 2010: Overall a great stay and absolutely no complaints. A wonderful warm room as well!
richard beaumont, Dezember 2010: We booked to see a band at the 02 and wanted a b&b which wasn't to expensive and close to the city Center. Keble College provided all those things and more. The setting was awsome, the rooms were simple but adaquate and the breakfast was lovely.
Gary Burnell, Oktober 2010: Very pleasant experience. Porters lodge particularly helpful.
Kirsty Petty, Oktober 2010: Loved my stay at Keble College and would stay again.
Only comments ... being a solo female traveller and staying in a room up two flights of stairs it would be nice if the young guy on the desk had offered to help me with my luggage. A nice lady in the office sorted this for me when she saw me struggling and called him to help.
A snack vending machine would be handy.
The breakfast and breakfast staff was excellent and they were very professional!!!
Thank you had a great stay.
Lippold von Klencke, September 2010: My stay was perfect. I would have prefered breakfast at 8 but met very nice people later on.
Peggy Tam, September 2010: It was a pretty cool to be able to dorm at such a historic university. the rooms were standard, clean, ample space to put our luggage, and had window that looked out to garden/courtyard which was lovely. The breakfast in the long dining hall was splendid - attentive service and setting was superb!
Signa Larralde, September 2010: We especially appreciated the clean towels and bath mat every day.
G Bekebrede, September 2010: Friendly staff, lovely park and surroundings, room wasn't decorated. Food was nice.
Carla Saravia, September 2010: We have been very pleased with all services provided and kindness of Keble staff - excellent experience !
Martin Smith, September 2010: Clean & comfortable room, great location close to city centre, highly recommended.
Margaret Rempel, September 2010: Thank you for making rooms available for the public to use when students are not in college. The buildings at Keble College are beautiful, unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to see the Chapel which must also be beautiful.
I was so happy to be able to stay at Keble College and experience a bit of college life ie breakfast in the large Hall, sleeping in the well appointed dorm rooms and just being in the middle of Oxford Colleges. Keble College is very well situated in the town and I always enjoyed my walk by the cemetary and the lovely old buildings on my way back the the College.
Just a few specific inconveniences I experienced: the shower had no ledge on which to put my soaps and the doors latches were hard to close softly. I guess though students probably don't mind too much about these things but as an old person these things are fairly important.
I wish the College staff and students a wonderfull and happy new school year. Thanks again for the opportunity of experiencing Keble College,
Maargaret Rempe;
Jennifer Taylor, September 2010: We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable. The only negative and it is a small one was the soap supplied in the bathroom......economise somewhere else and provide better soap and the experience would be perfect. It is very nearly perfect and we would definately stay again and recomend to others.
Rebecca Handley, September 2010: I really enjoyed my stay at Keble - great for total immersion in the Oxford experience! Room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. Absolutely beautiful setting and loved the amazing 'Hogwarts' style dining hall we ate breakfast in. Great value and highly recommended.
Stephane Baele, September 2010: Very good experience, easy booking and problemless stay.
Sascha Kaye, September 2010: A lovely atmosphere. I will recommend anyone to stay in Keble as it's great.
sara pedre, September 2010: Very impressed that the college provided wheat free bread! As someone with a wheat allergy, I was very grateful for this.
Christopher Harling, September 2010: I specifically asked for a room in the old part of college. Though they are much better than they were in the 60's they are a bit basic!
However, enjoyable stay
Anne McIntyre, September 2010: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Margaret Graham, September 2010: Keble is a stunning location and offers really good facilities for the casual visitor during vacations and term time. It was a rare treat to view Holman Hunt's "Light of the World"in Keble College's impressive chapel.
Breakfast in the magnificent hall was a memorable experience. Without exception, all of the staff were helpful. My friend and I would not hesitate to recommend the experience to others.
Edith Brugmans, September 2010: The accommodation at Keble College was excellent.
MR. DOMINICK McINTYRE, September 2010: Great service, helpfulness of the staff exceeded the expectations and the food was of the quality as found in the better restaurants.
Overall I was very sattisfied.
Lesley Morisetti, September 2010: The room was clean, comfortable and perfectly acceptable. The beauty of staying at Keeble is more to do with the wonderful historic setting and lovely architecture of the college and the very convenient setting within easy walking distance of the centre of Oxford.
Thank you for for a lovely stay - my second in as many months!
John Dawyot, September 2010: We had a wonderful experience staying for two nights at Keble College. The highlights were having the 24 porter for late checkin, internet accessiblity in the rooms, amazing surroundings, and a breakfast experience that we will remember for years to come.
Bridget Ankers, September 2010: In the bathroom there was mildew in the shower and the grouting in between the tiles wasn't a clean as it could be. I was in room 3700 and there was a drawer knob missing and one of the shelf supports was also missing from the top shelf of the bookcase. These are things that I feel the room maid should be reporting and maintenance fixing. Other than this I thought the rooms were of a high quality and we had an excellent view of the quad. We had an evening meal and breakfast in the Hall and I thought the quality of service and standard of food was excellent.
STEVE HALL, September 2010: A very comfortable room, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this experience to others. I would definitely consider a stay in a college for any future visits to Oxford.
Dr.Birgit Hartberger, September 2010: I enjoyed my stay very much. The room with view to the Liddon quad was quiet. A totally positive experience.
GAIA CORSO, September 2010: The college was wonderful and very particular
Sarah McCall, August 2010: Very good accommodation and really enjoyed staying in such beautiful surroundings. Also greatly appreciated my request to put my room and my son's close together being fulfilled - we had rooms opposite - which many hotels have failed to achieve in the past, but you had no trouble with.
We had a wonderful time at Keble and in Oxford generally and would recommend a stay at your college to others.
Ilsedore Klinsky, August 2010: It was a nice stay at Keble College - not far from Oxford town center in a quiet area and a beautiful place! One day I will come back :-),
Ilsedore
Leow Seow Wee, August 2010: The bathroom has the basic necessity but very spacious compare to other places of England.
We love the breakfast and the wonderful experience dinning in the hall.
Very scenic views from our room as we have a good view of the beautiful college
Julie Manojlovic, August 2010: I would choose to stay in the university again when visiting Oxford
The value for monoey was brilliant and having breakfast in the hall
was an experience. The college was peacefull during the night which quite often you don't get in a hotel. The staff in the lodge were helpful.
Overall an enjoyable stay.
Mary Myerscough, August 2010: The staff in the lodge were excellent, patiently answering a whole lot of questions. The housekeeping staff were also excellent, finding me more hangers and a blanket on request. The serving staff in the hall were very good too. The outlook from the room was lovely and the internet, fridge and kettle very welcome. At 40 pounds per night (including cooked breakfast) this was outstanding value!
Greg Fraser, August 2010: The only downside of our visit was the rather Spartan environment of the bedroom, particularly the bed, which was very ordinary!!!! The atmosphere was excellent.
Ellie Windle, August 2010: We were overawed by the college buildings and grounds - perfect surroundings and an idyllic stay. People - especially Janet Betts (Bursar of Keble) - could not have been more helpful!
Ken Green, August 2010: Character beats hotels by a country mile. A TV in a common room might have been nice to watch University Challenge... otherwise no criticism at all. Many thanks to the staff,
Linda Jones, August 2010: lovely view of the quad and to be in the heart of it all.
Cathy Waterhouse, August 2010: We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in College and are looking forward to coming back next year.
stephen brown, August 2010: This was the first time we have visited Oxford. With booking an overnight stay at Keble we felt it enhanced what was a very good short break, all the family enjoyed the experience.
Kristine Yee, August 2010: A wonderful and unique way to experience oxford. The dining hall is awesome.
Ian G Pearce, August 2010: Excellent stay, look forward to visiting again in the future
Pauline Tsang, August 2010: Our stay at Keble is a wonderful experience and beyond comparison with stay at hotels or average bed & breakfast. The environment of the College is calm and peaceful and the location of Keble is just far from the madding crowd. The breakfast at the dining hall is a unique experience and in fact the standard of food excels that of hotels and bed & breakfast that we stayed in UK in this trip. It would be wonderful if guests be given a complimentary tour in other parts of the College such as the library. That will be really impressive!
Ian Openshaw, August 2010: Enjoyable visit. Helpful and friendly staff
Hendrike Braun, August 2010: Staying in a college in Oxford was a great experience and absolutly worth the money! Keble college is a beautiful college with an especially nice dining hall. Just remember to bring a cable for internet if you do not want to purchase one for 5 L.
Mrs S Selby, August 2010: First class service throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Oxford and staying in this wonderful college was amazing. Hope to visit again and will certainly use your website. Thank you for a brilliant experience.
Celine Haye-Kiousis, August 2010: Dining room experience wonderful.
Diner could be served later than 6:30pm
rachael clyne, August 2010: I was very pleasantly surprised and it made my stay in Oxford easy and enjoyable. Great to share the dining hall breakfast experience with other guests. I would definitely use the service again.
David Spofforth, August 2010: A party of 12 of us stayed at Keble college and thought the whole experience was excellent. The breakfast was really good as well.
Thank-you for helping to make an excellent weekend.
The only slight issue I would say is that the rooms were maybe £5 to high in price but the location was excellent.
I would look to stay there again
maryanne garbowsky, August 2010: We enjoyed the experience very much. Keble was lovely and we enjoyed our breakfasts in the huge dining hall. Everyone was polite and courteous. The only drawback was that the first room assigned to us on the fourth floor had no elevator, and my husband has heart problems. The staff quickly and efficiently changed the accommodation for us, for which we were grateful. We would definitely stay again.
Nobuko Shimomura, August 2010: Thank you very much for your service. I had a wonderful time.
maureen greville, August 2010: A very different but enjoyable experience. Would have preferred a room overlooking one of the quads but my room was quite pleasant. Breakfast was disappointing. My meal was cold (possibly because I was sitting near the open door) and overcooked. At the table we were rather cramped for space. However, I would certainly return for another stay and hopefully dinner will be available.
Prof. Soon-Thiam Khu, August 2010: The Oxford experience is definitely something that people should try. I stayed at Keble College and it is great to be there. I would definitely go there again.
Thomas Kelly, August 2010: Everyone at Keble was very helpful and extremely pleasant. I will definitely recommend booking rooms through University Rooms.com to anyone I know who will be traveling to Oxford. We had an excellent experience all around.
Sarah Clayton, August 2010: Thanks for a lovely stay. My room had just been refurbished so everything was new. A helpful student helped show me to my room which was on the main quad, looking out on to a garden. Really nice to be in Oxford again and will definitely come back if i need a b&b again.
John Bergin, August 2010: The room needed a lick of paint as it was peeling in places but it was very clean and spacious so that made up for it.
Overall very pleased with the experience
luigi scalera, August 2010: thank you for a fantastic and unique experience - can't wait to come back!
Kind Regards
Luigi Scalera
John Hutchinson, August 2010: We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend in the summer hols and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The pictures on the website accurately reflect the reality - comfortable and clean rooms, obviously not over luxurious given what they are. Beds were basic but comfortable and rooms adequately furnished and providing all you need. The porter was very efficient and helpful on arrival and subsequently, directing me to the nearest park & drive (essential unless you are prepared to pay an arm and leg for parking). Breakfast in the hall was a unique experience - 'just like Hogwarts' to quote my younger daughter. Waiting staff very efficient and polite and self service food very good. Communal tables like a school or college but very sociable and an opportunity to chat with fellow guests. Staying inside college was great, with views of the beautiful Chapel and other buildings from the window. Value for money excellent - you'd struggle to find anywhere comparable in central Oxford. All in all a great experience which we would do again.
Mrs Christina Goeth Steger, August 2010: It was a special experience to stay in a place like Keble College! We enjoyed it very much, a promising start in our holidays in England.
If we once some back to Oxford we will choose again a college to stay.
Especially liked the breakfast in the hall, the courts, the atmosphere, the bar. It would have been interestig to hear more about the college and its parts while staying there (e.g. when arriving).
Brenda Coldwell, August 2010: Excellent staff. We will recommend this service.
Maria Schoenlein-Arens, August 2010: It was a very enjoyable experience, especially the excellent breakfast in the magnificent Victorian dining hall. The staff were very friendly and helpful, both at the lodge and in the hall. When the lamp in our bathroom broke down, it was fixed immediately. The city centre is within reasonable walking distance. We'd like to come back one day.
Tim Rudd, August 2010: The overall experience was outstanding. The price of £110 for a double room was rather high.
Leo van der Wilk, August 2010: A great stay in a college which was well located in the city centre of Oxford, but still a tranquil point where you can relax. Rooms are simple, but the dining hall was magnificent. We will stay here again surely when we are back in oxford.
DIANA BLEASE, August 2010: Beautiful view from our room over the front quad. Rooms were light and spacious. Bed a bit lumpy, but apart from that it was absolutely perfect! Excellent value for money. Will definitely return.
Mrs NMcCann, August 2010: I had to book 3 single rooms on Fri 30 Jul, and the family rooms for Sat 31 as the family rooms were already taken for the Fri. We had a most enjoyable weeked and would recommend Keble B+B to familly and friends. Thank you.
N McCann, August 2010: Sorry can't remember room number. Would recommend Keble B+B to friends and family, very enjoyable experience, thank you. The staff in the 'Porters Lodge' were very helpful.
Marion Mossu, August 2010: Very good location and premicies. Good service.
Dr. Krista Kennedy, August 2010: I very much enjoyed my stay at Kebel and found the front desk staff to be exceptional. Will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Oxford.
J.C.Wolters, August 2010: great to have breakfast in the great hall and the internet connection in the room is a definitive advantage.
Paul Sage, August 2010: I could not have wished to stay in a nicer place ... would rate highly.
Mr Andrew Bytheway, August 2010: Perfect location, being less than 5 minute walk to all centre sites like the Bodlean Library, Radcliffe Camera, real ale pubs etc. Breakfast service was a bit hit and miss and seemed to be a little rushed. But apart from that, will definately use this college again. Just remember to request a quad view room as if you don't, you may be looking at the modern buildings at the rear!
Jennifer Thomas, Juli 2010: Excellent value for money, really pleasant stay, staff were very friendly and helpful
Paul Mitchell, Juli 2010: A 'good value' place to stay in Oxford. Beautiful setting with courteous and efficient staff
Sarah L Edwards, Juli 2010: Good value for money
staff very friendly and helpful
only problem was that the rooms were hot and stuffy - an electric fan would have helped
Mrs R L Sellick, Juli 2010: Historical and interesting place to stay with warm and helpful people. Excellent.
Dr. Ruth Stephen, Juli 2010: The ambience of Keble College did not disappoint me. The sorroundings and the chapel are magnifiscent. The room was just average. I would rate the accomodation as basic. The sheets were clean . The walls of the room showed wear and tear. I did not have breakfast so am unable to rate it.
Sarah Rigby, Juli 2010: A great experience. A warm welcome from the lodge and a very comfortable stay.
Mrs Jean Bincliffe, Juli 2010: Clearly University rooms will be a little care worn, however, everything I needed was provided for and Keeble buiding and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast in The Great Hall was a fun experience with the chance to meet many lovely and interesting people. Overall I had a good experience and would seek to do this again.
LYNN ATKINS, Juli 2010: Very small room, which was quite cramped and hot for 2 people. Ok for 1. However, bathroom was nice and well equipped and view from both more than made up for the fairly spartan accommodation, Keble College itself was lovely and the grounds, bar and lovely Grand Hall and chapel much enjoyed.
Pablo Gutierrez, Juli 2010: Very good experience.
Mrs Val Zakian, Juli 2010: My friend (above) did the booking, so I can't really comment on the use of the website. The whole Keble experience was very agreeable and I would certainly hope to return for another weekend in the wonderful city of Oxford.
Alison Tovell, Juli 2010: I enjoyed my stay at Keble very much - beautiful surroundings and a good standard of accommodation and service. Just one comment regarding noise - a constant thrumming (some kind of generator?) throughout the night.
Mary-Lou Richards, Juli 2010: Staying at Keble was a delightful experience.
Mrs Val Zakian, Juli 2010: Positive: The overall experience of staying in hall was very enjoyable. The staff was helpful. The room space was excellent.
Negative: The matress was somewhat broken down and uncomfortable. the loo flush was somewhat inadequate.
Comment: It would have been nice to have a radio in the room.
The towels were changed each day in spite of my not leaving them on the floor. the soap was also renewed each day - not necessary; one does not use a whole tablet each day.
Baldicchi Maurizio, Juli 2010: Staying at Keble has been a great experience for us. The room was simple but clean, the breakfast room was stunnig and there was a lot of choice. The central position of the College made the visit of Oxford very easy.
Jean-Marc Taing, Juli 2010: Friendly staff at the porters' lodge, great rooms (booked a double ensuite and a standard single), great breakfast, all of this in a beautiful college!
Rachel Davies, Juli 2010: Absolutley brilliant! Everyone in the party wants to go back! Can't believe such a brilliant breakfast, too - can't fault it!
Mike Hutchinson, Juli 2010: Would definitely book again
Henri Papenfus, Juli 2010: I thank you for making our CORESTA Seniors such a successful, enjoyable affair. The 'University Experience', our theme for the reunion, was made real by staying at Keble. Every one of our group was full of praise for the arrangements and experience you provided. I thoroughly recommend your B & B to all serious visitors to Oxford and especially to those who have never had the opportunity to live in College.
W. FRASER, Juli 2010: Porters in the lodge deserve special praise for their charming interpersonal skills, highly efficient organisation and intuitive helpfulness at all times - thank you!
Roland Cartwright, Juli 2010: The staff in the Porter's Office at Keble were particularly helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Robert Willoughby, Juli 2010: Sunday breakfast service much better than Monday (more proactive!)
Lynne Matthews, Juli 2010: We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly stay with you again if we visit Oxford. We appreciated the friendly and helpful advice that Caroline, the gardener gave us about visiting nearby places. The grounds of the college are really beautiful (We loved our view from our room) and we would certainly encourage our friends here is Australia to stay at Keble when visiting the UK.
Francis McLoughlin, Juli 2010: Room clean but slightly shabby - but what do you expect from a student room?
Breakfast not quite as nice as I'd expected, but adequate.
What a treat to stay in an another Oxford college - pity mine was booked!
S Hazeldine, Juli 2010: Very impressed but bathrooms could do with refurbishment
Pam Thomson, Juli 2010: Our visit was very enjoyable but black out blinds at the room windows would be a good idea as the light is very bright very early!
Nicholas Hancock, Juli 2010: Almost unbelievably good in every way, excellent accommodation and breakfast, kind and helpful staff everywhere from the porters lodge to the dining hall, and a truly impressive but relaxed and friendly ambience. We shall certainly hope to come again
Martin McManus, Juli 2010: Beautiful venue and great value for money.
Dr Chris Joyce, Juli 2010: I enjoyed the stay - my first in Keble since 1985! The room was rather basic, but adequate - and everything else excellent - so good overall vfm. I hope to use your service again soon.
Babette Wehen, Juli 2010: We had a great time at Keble College and are very thankful for the oppotunity at staying there. A wonderful experience!
A comment on breakfast: great surrounding, offering and service! An offering of cheese would be great.
Mrs Sheila Marshall, Juli 2010: We had a wonderful visit to Oxford and our stay at Keeble made it even more special. The porters were extremely helpful in storing our luggage when we arrived early and also helping with phone calls to restaurants etc. The whole experience was most enjoyable and will be recommending it to friends.
Piera Gerrard, Juli 2010: The overall experience was great. The breakfast was a bit of a muddle due to the number of people (there was a conference on). We kept running out of coffee, toast etc It really needed someone to meet and greet at the entrance to explain the procedure. Room was fine but bathroom could do with a bit of a refresh/up date which you probably know.
Jeremy Wong, Juli 2010: very nice experience - gorgeous place to stay, friendly and nice service.
One significant reservation: 5£ for the requisite wire to access internet is ridiculous. A majority of accommodation options at this price range offer internet for free, and the material in 3ft of cat5 cable is literally pennies.
Did not have breakfast (hence 'average' since no 'not applicable' option exists)
Elizabeth Crawford, Juli 2010: I really enjoyed my stay in Keble. I was very pleased to get a change from a room on the road side to one overlooking the quad. There were students having a party across the quad but it it didn't detract too much from the experience of being there.
Allan Richards, Juni 2010: I was already booked to spend 2 days at Keble for their pre1960 Gaudy. They considerately kept me in the same room, and were helpful in all respects.
Ali Rogers and Emma Newcombe, April 2010: The rooms are excellent value for money. The college is beautiful and ideally located near to town. Breakfast in the dining hall is worth it in itself. Don't go expecting all the bells and whistles of a five star hotel though. If you are after the experience of staying in an Oxford college then Keble is the ideal choice.
Laura Harding, April 2010: A very enjoyable and comfortable stay and the people working in the Porters office were lovely. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
Mark Anderson, April 2010: We really enjoyed our stay at Keble College. I apprectiated very much your efforts to ensure that our rooms were adjacent, and found all the staff to be very helpful and interested in making our stay pleasant. The location of the college is great for exploring central Oxford and the museums. We all enjoyed the peaceful setting and loved (especially the kids) eating in the hall (which could very easily have been used as the setting for the great hall at Hogwarts!). The rooms themselves are fairly basic, but this is made clear in all the information and so was not a surprise to us. I will definitely recommend staying at Keble to friends.
Mrs Kathryn Russell, April 2010: A wonderful experience. Our stay enabled my husband,an ex student of Keble, to take a stroll down "memory lane". Though not plush 4* accommodation, the rooms are very warm and comfy with en suite facilities. Breakfasts were good and what a fantstic place to eat in the huge dining hall! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend time there. Keble is a very good base to sample all that Oxford has to offer.
Rusu Teodora, April 2010: The two days we spend in Keble College were wonderful. We were delighted both me and my daughter. For her it was like being in a story world and the in the mean time it was an experience that made her think about how University can be. As concerning the leaving conditions everything was in order (no difference of the facilities offered by a traditional b&b). The university feeling, the security in the accommodation and the worm support of the staff made our experience much better that the traditional b&b. We plan to come again to Keble College and to use universityrooms.co.uk in order to visit also other UK places.
Timothy Burland, März 2010: A hassle-free opportunity to stay in the centre of Oxford. It is hard to imagine anyone wanting to go to a hotel when rooms inside real colleges are available. A new room with a view of olde buildings was worth every penny. Many Thanks.
Mrs Angelina Chapman, März 2010: My daughter and I stayed at Keble whilst in Oxford for the Sunday Times Literary Festival. It was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The college is beautiful, the rooms were excellent and it the booking process etc was very simple. We look forward to staying at Keble next year.
Thank you.
Karen Lambrecht, März 2010: The B&B experience at Keble College exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, and with just two sharing facilities, it felt like an en-suite. The college is beautiful, and it was a real treat to have breakfast in the hall. It was a tiny, fascinating look into the Oxford student life. Thanks for letting the general public take part. I will certainly stay here again, whenever I have a chance to visit Oxford.
Gemma Beswick, März 2010: Was a wonderful experience! All the staff were so lovely and even though it was a freezing time of year, it was so so beautiful. Rooms were great, better than we could have imagined. Can't wait to return one day. If only it wasn't a 24 hr flight away!
Beth Cronin, März 2010: We had a lovely time and would definitely return to stay at Oxford Rooms and recommend you to others. We did comment that having a radio in the room would have added to the experience but apart from that there wasn't much we could fault. We also had our evening meal in the dining hall which was also wonderful.
Many thanks for our stay.
Beth
Annette Zimmermann, März 2010: I enjoyed my stay very much. It's a wonderful experience to have breakfast in the magnificent hall!
Hugh Brown, März 2010: I was extremely impressed with all the booking process the organisation the facilities and the hospitality and helpfulness of the Keeble College staff. I have been promoting the the service to everyone I know.
Edward D Browne, März 2010: Lovely place, very enjoyable experience - magnificent dining hall!
paul riggs, März 2010: A fantastic experience and an economical stay. Being in the heart of Oxford allowed us to feel at home rather than a visitor.
Thoroughly recommend to any traveler
Colin Scannell, März 2010: Would stay at Keble again and again - an incredible experience; like stepping back in time, in comfort ;-)
John Moore, Februar 2010: Our rooms were in the new wing at Keble College so we were spoiled! They were clean and quiet. The porter's lodge answered all our questions and were very helpful Our visit was most enjoyable and we hope to return in the future.
John Ray, Februar 2010: We had a most enjoyable weekend. I had no idea (as an Emmanuel man) that Oxford has almost as much to offer as Cambridge. City bus tour especially helpful. Dinner in hall was amusing (we could chat to other residents) and particularly good value, with bottle of wine included. We have been recommending these weekends to our friends. Thank you,
John & Caroline
Paul Twynholm, Februar 2010: A special place to stay for a weekend visit. thanks
DeAnn McAllan, Februar 2010: It would have been really nice to have a place to meet/relax with others on campus. We checked out the bar but it either wasn't open or didn't seem comfortable. Great otherwise. Will definitely book again.
Robert Claxton, Februar 2010: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and comfortable. Being in the middle of the capus had an atmosphere we would not have been able to experience in a hotel. In addition, the location was within easy walking distance of shopping and restaurants. The only downside was the lack of parking.
Dr Amani Bell, Oktober 2009: We very much enjoyed our stay at Keble College. I recommend it to anyone who wants a brief experience of college life.
Gunar Kaune, Oktober 2009: The room was okay for the price, but the breakfast in the dining hall an experience!
Karin Grönberg, September 2009: Thank you for a stay in historical surroundings with nice service and nice people!
Pia Larsson, September 2009: Perfect - I would like to come back with my family
Ulla Vainio, September 2009: Everything was fine. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well despite some noise coming from the street.
Mrs.Cynthia Bamford, September 2009: 8 ladies came on my booking, we all experienced a wonderful 3 day visit
to Keble university. Your staff in the lodge were so helpful and knew all
the answers to the questions we asked. We have recommended the holiday to so many people! How lucky you are to be working in Oxford.
Cynthia Bamford
Catherine Janzen, September 2009: My only complaint on the whole trip was that I don't like soft-cooked eggs and couldn't get a full fry-up with hard-cooked eggs. On the other hand, if that's the only thing wrong, life's pretty good!
In general, we had a great time, the facilities were super, and the lodge staff very helpful. I would definitely come again. The students didn't seem to mind us, and we enjoyed eating brekkie with some of the mothers down for the exams. Excellent experience overall. Thanks.
vanessa f. lee, September 2009: Thank you for your hospitality, your service is always very consistent and we look forward to spending time at Keble College in the very near future.
Laura Huang, September 2009: Recently renovated -- Good. More or less up to the standard of a modern hotel, except for the lack of a television (which I did not want anyway). However, I don't know how you will be able to maintain this level of quality after a few years of intensive student usage.
The lighting is only just sufficient.
Jonathan Lambourne, September 2009: Great stay, beautiful college, fantastic having breakfast in the magnificent great hall.
Sharman Minus, August 2009: A wonderful experience. Daily housekeeping with refreshed toiletries was a pleasant surprise. A malfunction of the shower was quickly seen to by a cheerful worker. My one suggestion would be to upgrade the toilet paper, which was a bit harsh. The cooked breakfast was a treat, and the two dinners I had in hall were as good as any mid range restaurant. The wine with dinner plus the bar drinks were at student prices, another treat.
The proximity to the centre of town was marvellous. I never had to walk more than 15 minutes to get anywhere interesting, and as a solo female traveller I felt safe, even at night walking back after concerts.
The whole atmosphere of the college, with its beauty, history and quiet, gives it that indefinable added extra with which an ordinary hotel or B&B cannot compete.
My stay was memorable. I would definitely come again and will recommend it to others.
Christopher Blunt, August 2009: Superb. 2nd time at Keble and will definitely be coming back. Rooms nice and clean (even basic room). Wonderful staff and service is 2nd none.
Plus the college grounds are fantastic.
Mrs Margaret Hall, August 2009: Having stayed in Keble College last year when our rooms overlooked the Hayward Quad student bar, I asked if it would be possible to have rooms this year overlooking the quad itself. Having requested this, we were really delighted to find on our day of arrival that our room request had been read and our rooms did look out over the beautiful quad. This made our stay this year even better - thank you so very much. We seemed to be the only two rooms being used when we were there and to have a bathroom each, was a real bonus. Thank you again - I would not hesitate to recommend your service, its brilliant!
Fay Wrixon, August 2009: It was lovely to stay in Keeble and everything was exactly as described. The staff at the Porter's Lodge were very courteous and efficient and we will certainly repeat the experience. Thank you to all concerned.
Kind regards,
Fay Wrixon

Thank you
Mary Wealleans
Harriet Morgan, August 2009: Keble College is a beautiful space, albeit a different one by Oxford standards, and I loved looking out the window in the morning and evening. The suite fit our family needs perfectly and allowed our local friends to stop by our rooms, sit and talk. That would have been difficult had we opted instead for an extra bed fit into a hotel room, for the same price. The porters were helpful and the breakfast in hall was an added treat--I appreciated the wide selection of cold foods and the experience of dining in an Oxford college hall.
James Hampton, August 2009: Was very good - the Porter was extremely helpful. Breakfast service was also outstanding. Polite, helpful and generally an enjoyable experience.
kate seed, August 2009: I was extremely impressed with my visit and will be recommending to one and all.
Mr T.J.Herbert, August 2009: Attended Wedding of my son & daughter-in-law and the whole experience was superb and the standard of service first class. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and a special mention of Gerard the Hall Manager who was extremely co-operative. Many thanks

A very peaceful setting and within walking distance of a good variety of restaurants and attractions. Breakfast in the great hall was a wonderful experience and sitting in the beautiful grounds was really relaxing. Our room was very comfortable, tidied, and provided with clean towels every day. It was very quiet at night so we were able to enjoy a good restful sleep.

Margret Thalwitz, Juni 2009: I have spent many nights at Keble between mid-May and the end of June and I am very sorry that this time is coming to an end. Everybody and everything has been just very special. The porters, the conference manager, the booking office, everyone has been incredibly helpful and accommodating, making room 3514 my home for many weeks. Liddon Quad is beautiful, the view magnificent. The rooms are spacious, very clean with great working and storage facilities for a longer stay. The breakfast is a daily experience, starting with a warm welcome by the friendly staff; the hall is a landmark, and the guests are exceptional. True to the reputation of this leading university town, many a day have started with a fine early morning conversation. Living among students made me want to be a student again. A heartfelt thank you to all who made it a memorable stay.

Julia M Shaw, Juni 2009: The porter was particularly welcoming and helpful. Breakfast staff too very helpful. Good food. Enjoyable stay. Room excellent. Felt staff put themselves out to make the stay an excellent experience. Could perhaps have done without knock on the door at 9.30 reminding me I had to vacate by 10am. But didnt detract from the excellent experience. Would definitely stay again.
Luis Portela, Juni 2009: I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere and architecture of the college and the beauty of the gardens.
Miodrag Filipovic, Juni 2009: Excellent service!
Chris Dickon, Mai 2009: University rooms is a valuable resource for Oxford city visitors, and not widely known. Rooms and values can be counted on to be excellent, if not exactly deluxe, but seem to be a much better alternative for the price to what is available elsewhere in the city. Thank you.
JULIE CAMPBELL, Mai 2009: I was very comfortable and happy at Keble College and will recommend this facility to others. My room was three times the size of the one in my London hotel, with much better water pressure in the shower to boot!
Hannah North, Mai 2009: fantastic room with a great bathroom ensuite and very comfortable bed. very easy to book over the internet and easy to check in at porter's lodge. i will certainly recommend it to anyone else looking to stay in oxford.

Athinoula L. Petrou, Januar 2009: All were excellent. I had very short time to look around the college but I was lucky to meet accidentally the garden keeper (a very polite lady) who explained to me briefly many things about the college and she also brought me into the chapel. It was wonderful. Because of this positive experience I bought a booklet to read more about Kelbe college and a book about Oxford.

GOODWIN KIM, September 2008: Excellent service at reception and overall was definitely the high-spot of the stay in England for the two visiting students. We had already stayed in a University hall of residence before but Keble was much better.

Claire Evans, Juli 2008: Really enjoyed stay. Great breakfast! Will def stay again.
Dr. Helen H. Cole, Juli 2008: The staff at the porter's lodge was most helpful in sharing information to answer our many questions, especially Jason who is no longer there and the one female that was so charming and forthright in searching for what we needed.
Caroline Wright, Juli 2008: The staff in the porters lodge were particularly helpful and friendly.
Robin Forrest, Juli 2008: Excellent service, the porters were unfailingly helpful, the food was ok bearing in mind the large numbers, the room clean, generally wonderful, and see you next year!....

Mary-Anne Piggott, Juli 2008: This is the second time I have stayed at Keeble. It was excellent.
Carl Phelpstead, Juli 2008: Porters were very helpful indeed, but I felt the staff at breakfast could have been more proactive, rather than standing around waiting to be asked things. All in all an enjoyable experience.
Tim Harrison, Juli 2008: Will definitely use this service again - no complaints at all!
Seyed Alireza Vousough Hosseini, Juli 2008: Very beautiful buildings. Fantastic breakfast hall! A uinque and unexpected experience for me! I'll recommend it to all my friends who are planning to visit in Oxford.
Thanks!
Lissa Paul, Juli 2008: I was very grateful for the opportunity to stay at Keble--especially as I was doing research at the Bodleian. As a college room, it was terrific and I'd stay again. I would, however, have been grateful for wireless internet access.
Dr. Frances Wilkinson, Juli 2008: The room was very comfortable. The staff in the front office were all extremely helpful. My only minor complaint was with breakfast - I felt the staff were trying to rush us out - hovering around and grabbing plates before one was finished eating. We were having an extemely pleasant chat with another guest over breakfast and felt we had to keep fending off the wait staff if we wanted to actually get to eat our breakfast. However, this small point aside, we greatly enjoyed our visit to Keeble.
Georgia Mouroutsou, Juli 2008: that was a delight to stay at your College- Keble
John Cassidy, Juli 2008: Very good location for seeing most of Oxford, people pleasant and helpful.
Wendy Robinson, Juli 2008: We really enjoyed our visit. The college and it's gardens are beautiful and eating in the dining hall was a great experience. A little disappointed we weren't on one of the older quadrangles but understand that is just a case of availability. The room was clean and adequate if a little noisy as our neighbours were in and out a lot and we were also near the entrance door to the floor and the stairs. Also, we had less choice during breakfast the 2nd day, only white toast available and no danishes left, coffee was also cold, having a different choice of eggs (ie scrambled) would have meant I would have had the cooked breakfast - just little things which can make a big difference. I would definately use UniversityRooms again. Many thanks
Viswanath Seshamani, Juli 2008: I came for my Dughter Divya's wedding held at the Keble Chapel on 12th July. With most of wedding guests housed in Keble it was very convienent & good. Rooms were good for the price & value for money. Breakfast was very good. Keble staff were friendly.
Would be good for keble staff to check out the condition of rooms before guests occupy. For example our oom could not be locked from inside & keble staff could not fix it because they could not get someone to repair for 2 days.Otherwise great. We will certainly keep Keble as a 1st Option for stay next ound. Thank U.
Elaine Stroud, Juli 2008: Great room with windows on 2 sides, and beautiful view. Very comfortable accommodations. I don't think there was anyone across the hall using the bathroom, so that was never a problem.
Judith Klem, Juli 2008: I had a great experience staying at Keble College and would gladly stay there again, and also recommend it to my friends. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and made my stay all the more enjoyable. One suggestion I have is to place a mirror in close proximity to where a hair dryer can be plugged in, as it's hard to style your hair when you can't see it!
Thanks for contributing to a wonderful vacation!
Judy Klem
Anjoum Noorani, Juli 2008: Many thanks - a surprisingly professional service.
Jolyon Brewis, Juli 2008: My only criticism is that 8 of us arrived on bikes. We asked the porters about secure bicycle parking, but were initially told we could only lock them on the street. Later we pressed the point and were told about a very good, large, secure bike park within the college grounds. It would have been nice if this could have been pointed out straight away.
Otherwise excellent. Thanks very much.
J Joubert, Juli 2008: Detailed instructions in the room about internet access would be helpful.
Staff were very helpful, thank you.
J.Joubert.
Reva Childs, Juli 2008: loved it and would happily recommend it to anyone
priya shah, Juli 2008: Thank you so much fo putting us all in the same area. We all thoroughly enjooyed our stay!
Rob Versteeg, Juli 2008: The standard of the room and facilities is average, but the environment and atmosphere more than compensate for this. For us it was a rather unique experience, nothing like any standard hotel. We stayed in the old part, so I cannot speak for the newer rooms. The "dining room" is so stunning, you almost forget you tast your breakfast! I will certainly recommend you to others.
Paul Tam, Juli 2008: My stay was very enjoyable. The only minor hitch was the key to the room I was first allocated didn't work and I had to return to the Porter's lodge 3 times to seek help. The porter on duty was extremely helpful though. Finally i was allocated another room and everything else was fine. Staying at the college made the trip to Oxford extra special. Breakfast in the dining hall was great.
Wendy Fraser, Juli 2008: I was impressed with the quality of the room. I loved every minute of being inside a building with such beautiful architecture. Much better than a hotel. There was a very useful fridge inside a cupboard in my room, too - a helpful facility for cooling food and drinks bought outside and a brilliant practical idea. Warmed plates would keep the cooked breakfast from cooling down too quickly. A small box of paper tissues in the room would also be helpful.
Amelita Dolorico, Juni 2008: It was interesting to have the experience of living in one of the colleges. I would enjoy going to a different one next time just for variety.
Katie Mills, Juni 2008: Great find

Mary-Anne Piggott, Juni 2008: Absolutely excellent
Dr Lisa Harrison, Juni 2008: compared to hotel costs we found staying in Keble College very reasonable. The rooms were of a high standard and the breakfasts were great. You might want to think about putting together little info packs for visitors of what to do and any offers
Keiko NAKAJIMA, Juni 2008: The room was clean and quiet, yet the college was very conveniently located for visiting Oxford. It was great to have a gimpse of the student life at the college.
Richard L. Rosen, Juni 2008: The room and Keble College were beautiful! I would recommend University Rooms to another american graduate student visiting Oxford. This was a great opportunity to experience a stay at an Oxford college, and was one of the highlights of my program of study in England.
Thank you. - Mr. Rosen
Melissa Bonnefin, Juni 2008: I had a very enjoyable time at Keble College and in Oxford and I look forward to visting and staying again in the future.

cheers, Carl
Sue Greenall, Mai 2008: I will certainly use this service again, I thought it was excellent.

Jean M Stipo, April 2008: It was a beautiful setting and although I was only there for a couple of days , my experience in Oxford was fabulous! The breakfast was great, the dining hall stupendous and everyone was very helpful and kind. The room was comfortable, a little spartan esthetically speaking, but clean and suitable. While the room is a good value in pounds, I was ultimately paying in dollars, which doubled the cost. That was my problem, tho! Thank you, I'll be back soon! Jean
Jamie Peppitt, April 2008: Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect. Thanks.
Claire Tomlinson, April 2008: It was an excellent place to stay and we would definitely use the facility again. Thank you

The whole experience was absolutely wonderful! thank you so much!!
Linda

Miss Lois Allen, April 2008: The grounds of Keble College provided a stunning backdrop for my short stay, the room was perfect for my needs and all staff I came into contact with were very courteous and pleasant.
I have already recommended University Rooms to friends and colleagues looking for reasonable accommodation in Oxford and would certainly stay again myself.
Denine Cimmons, April 2008: I had a fabulous time at Oxford thanks to your affordable, safe and high quality accommodations. Thank you!
